Дейв Гэхан: Поздравляю с юбилеем.

ДГ: Я уверен, что это прекрасно – быть частью чего-то, настолько длительного. Я где-то понимаю это, потому что сам участвую в группе, которая уже давно существует... не так давно, как Gucci, но, знаете, мы вместе уже 31 год, и когда оглядываешься назад, видишь, какое это достижение. Это целая история. Ваши недавние коллекции отсылают к истории Gucci, наверное, больше, чем ваши первые коллекции. Что вы обнаружили, когда впервые открыли архивы Gucci?
ФД: Когда я пришла в Gucci в 2002 году, я сразу же захотела ознакомиться с архивами, потому что я много слышала о них, но никогда у меня не было возможности их посмотреть. Скажу вам, я была шокирована ими, потому что архивы Gucci полны невероятных вещей из 40-х, 60-х и 70-х годов. Там есть удивительные сумки, образцы мебели или вещи для тенниса и гольфа. Они делали дизайн машин в 70-е, и там есть оригинальные рисунки принтов и цветов, которые тоже невероятно вдохновляют меня, ведь я могу взять эти старые объекты и переработать их – дать им новую жизнь. В дизайне для Gucci мне нравится делать стилистические смешения прошлого, настоящего и будущего, потому что у этого дома огромная история. Это 90 лет традиций и идей о совершенстве и мастерстве товаров роскоши и искусства, которое передавалось поколениями. Мы до сих пор работаем с поставщиками, являющимися сыновьями и дочерями прежних поставщиков, которые работали с семьей Гуччи в начале прошлого века. Так что приятно создавать этот баланс между тем, что было сделано в прошлом и что ты собираешься сделать в будущем.

ДГ: Я люблю делать то же самое в музыке. Мне важно знать, как развивалась музыка и переносить это в будущее. Я хочу спросить, правда ли, что у вас есть комната, где хранится 7 тысяч виниловых пластинок

"Five Point One" это название компиляции, которая интересна для фанатов Depeche Mode, так как она содержит ранее не издававшийся ремикс Sweetest Perfection.


В середине сентября 2011 года Марк Ридер продюсер и музыкант выпустит сборник ремиксов.
